Non-Bootie Designs: Sidi boots do not incorporate inner booties into their design, and for good reason. Booties make the design larger and cumbersome; add to the boot’s thickness, which interferes with shifting, plus the inner booties retain body heat affecting the rider’s performance and comfort.

Great boots--there's a reason Italians are known for their footwear! Just saw them on the promo and thought I hadn't finished my review and wanted to get it up. Wanted to note that they are all season comfortable because they are waterproof and not insulated and you can vary your sock thickness. I wear these everywhere.

This Goretex boot is tough, the most comfortable touring boot I've ever tried on, and totally waterproof (Sidi guarantees it to be 100% waterproof for 2 years!). Not only that, but it looks great, is easy to get in and out of, offers much more protection than a casual boot (rigid sole won't bend or snap, armor around the ankles and on the shin, buckle to hold your toes back from the end and fit into the heel of the boot, tough toe and heel box—all considerably good safety features). Totally deluxe, completely dependable, Italian boot for a good price. These are my favorite boots. Sidis have been around for a long time, they are a huge boot name in the U.S., and they are available and very well backed. Order a pair—you won't regret it. Sizing is accurate and right on. They have recently redesigned the buckle and it is much easier to use (I have seen both designs, and mine is the newer one--I saw another reviewer commented on that).
